Call for Papers

The 2023 CUCE committee is actively seeking technical presentations for the 11th CUCE scheduled to be held March 26 - 28, 2023 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The CUCE will continue to focus on all aspects of onshore and offshore underwater industries, including occupational divers, contractors, scientific/engineering divers, military/police/fire rescue diving, oil & gas, health & safety, ports & harbours, diving regulators and remotely operated vehicles (ROV).

Has your company recently introduced cutting a edge product or technology or have you participated in exciting projects that would be of interest to the underwater community? The 2023 CUCE provides an excellent opportunity to share these accomplishments and advancements with a targeted audience comprised of the occupational diving & ROV industry from Canada, the US and around the world.

Presentations are scheduled to be 20-25 minutes in length followed by 5-10 minutes for questions and answers. We have time slots for only 22 papers so to reserve your place, please submit a 100-word abstract for your paper by March 10, 2023. Abstracts should include title, author, affiliation, and should specify the presentation format.

The selection committee will make final selections by March 10, 2023. If selected, your technical paper should be submitted to the CUCE by March 15, 2023.

Speakers will receive one complimentary registration package to the 2023 CUCE including the Welcome Reception, Awards Banquet, exhibits, presentations, breakfasts and lunches.
